I would expect the official Alchemist page to look this
good. What can I say? Alchemist is one of the greatest
bands ever. September 06, 2000 |

G'day boys! I'm Jim, and I just had to say that I think
you guys are by far THE most innovative, original and
exciting bands Australia has ever seen! The power and
dynamics you guys have in conjuction with your use of
spacey trippy sounds, the arabic/midddle-eastern overtures
and tribal aboriginal influences truly makes yourselves
the freshest and most enlivening bands in the world!
I am a long-time fan with all your signed albums and
I think a decent number of live visits under my belt
- 12, so I\'m not a new-comer to the Alchemist experience.
The one thing I can't understand is why there aren't
alot more Alchemist fans out there? And where is the
international recognition? I'm sorry but I just can't
understand why such a barn-storming power-house of a
band with so many different influences, samples and
sounds (and such an energetic band live), isn't a phenominal
hit overseas? Like I said, aboriginal digeridoos, spacey
techno sounds, arabian style drum beats and riffs and
brilliant energetic metal - what more can you ask for?
Anyway, enough bitching, 'Organasm' was just yet another
mind-blowing experience from you!! I thought you'd be
hard-pressed to top 'Spiritech', but you showed me the
error of my ways and proved me wrong again (I also said
that about 'Lunasphere'). How do you guys do it? I guess
it just comes easy to The Kings of Australian Metal.
I'm sure the world will soon wake up to itself and realise
what REAL talent is and that it lies firmly on the heads
of the boys of Alchemist. Nobody deserves recognition
as much as you! Alliegance, loyalty and respect always,
Jimbo (Newcastle) September 07, 2000 |

To Adam and the band, Went to see you guys at Rock Ape
last Saturday and it was awesome. I think I speak for
Me and Papak as well as Robert will agree it was awesome
as well as he was the only one to get up on stage and
stage-dive backwards. Keep on rocking dudes. From an
