I'm not sure how many others in my country of England know of Alchemist, but ever since some random Aussie I met outside a local Napalm Death gig sent me over a tape full of Australian metal bands (Alchemist included) a few years ago, I've been on a mission to get more into you. The new album rawks like a like a hawk clinging to a branch in a full scale hurricane!! It is time to come to Europe. The new CD Austral Alien is really awesome. Listening to this record is a real adventure. It is the same experience as with a record from Opeth (although it is in many ways different). This is real progressive metal. I am definetely checking the other records out. 8 July 2003
