| Alchemist
toured throughout May and June 2001 with the
Acid Test tour, this was a fun tour covering
the east coast of Australia. The Acid Test
tour took the band to Western Australia for
gigs in Perth. The shows were great and so
much fun was had afterward, the plane was
almost missed back to Canberra. The band played
Metal for the Brain 11, which would be their
last show for the foreseeable future until
the new album was written and recorded. All
the band had at this point was a title, which
was kept quiet, and work began. Relapse Records
had now licensed Organasm from Displeased
for North America and were showing more interest
in the band. Eventually Relapse offered the
band a deal. |
