| In
early 1992 Guitarist Andrew Neridith left
the band and was replaced by Roy Torkington
who was a youngster playing in local bands
at the time. The new line-up rehersed hard
to get to gig ready strenth berfore playing
a sting of local shows including Metal for
the Brain 2 at the ANU. Following the promotion
of Demo 91 Alchemist were offered a deal by
Austrian Label 'Lethal Records' after some
reseach and investigation and the lack of
a better offer the band decided to go with
the deal. Alchemist spent the remainder of
1992 preparing and writting songs for their
first full lenth record to be released in
1993. The band was rehersing in Adams perants
house in Gowrie ACT several times a week -
a routine that would continue in various venues
for the next 10 years. |
