| Alchemist's
second album 'Lunasphere' was released in
1995. The Album was recorded in Powerhouse
& Paradise Studios mixed at Sony studios
in Sydney with John Hersc. Lunasphere was
officially launched at the Phoenician club
in Sydney and proved to be very popular in
Australia. Lunasphere was the first Alchemist
CD to enter the Australian Alternative charts
and pushed the bands popularity to new levels.
To capitalize on this success the band bought
their touring van, a good condition Holden
Shuttle (Schmutz-Shutz) and aggressively began
touring up and down the east coat of Australia.
Canberra icon 'Gup' who used to run a P.A.
in Canberra joined the band as a sound guy
and quickly became an indispensable member.
While Shock records did little to promote
the band outside of Australia. 'Lunasphere'
gained excellent reviews in International
mags with some editorial exposure. |
