| The
majority of 1998 was spent playing shows in
support of the Spiritech release including
tours with Pitchshifter (UK) and Brutal truth
(USA) around eastern Australia. The band also
returned to backbeach Studios and recorded
'Eve of the War" from Jeff Wayne’s
War of the Worlds. Good friend JJ Nixon from
Pod People came down to the recording and
played an extra guitar on the track and the
closing radio voice sequence. This was put
together with some live material and bonus
tracks to make an EP Eve of the War, the CD
was released and did surprisingly well in
Australia. JJJ radio also played the version
frequently and the song was very well appreciated
live. |
